Well hello!

I’m a strategic visual leader with expertise in crafting storytelling experiences that drive engagement for both B2B and B2C audiences. I focus on designing intuitive, elegant and impactful user experiences that simplify and make complex data easy to understand.

As Lead Creative for Digital News at the Associated Press, I support a team of designers and developers in delivering innovative solutions that address both immediate and long-term editorial needs. I’ve spearheaded initiatives in crisis mapping and implemented a data visualization training program that empowers AP reporters with visual storytelling skills. My approach prioritizes delivering meaningful, actionable information that resonates with diverse audiences and drives measurable results.

Leading by design.

  • Lead Creative for the News Design team at AP, mentoring team members and training staff on breaking news visual strategy.

  • Average 3 million+ views each month in the visual work I produce.

  • I've developed and implemented the AP Digital News team's design system as well as multiple style guides.

  • Launched and designed the new AP brand color palette in collaboration with the Global Creative Director and Brand.

  • Member of the design committee responsible for the creation of AP's own proprietary variable font.

  • Designed story article pages and site features for AP's 2023 relaunch of APNews.com.

After spending a number of years in Brooklyn and Queens, I now live on Long Island with my husband and our miniature schnauzer, Oliver. I love gaming, exercising and cooking and if I didn't need money, I would dedicate my life to helping animals.
